Maple Glazed Cinnamon Rolls
Kick of the holiday season with these sticky sweet Homemade Maple Glazed Cinnamon Rolls!
This recipe is perfect for brunch or holiday gatherings with family and friends. Or enjoy this warm and ooey-gooey holiday treat cozied up with a cup of coffee or a tall glass of milk.
Ingredients:
Dough:

1 cup warm milk

1 Instant Active Dry Yeast Packet

1/2 cup of sugar

2 large eggs
-
1/3 cup softened butter
-
4-5 cups of flour
Filling:
-
1 stick of room temperature butter
-
1 cup brown sugar
-
2 TBSP cinnamon
Maple Glaze Icing:
-
4oz room temperature cream cheese
-
3 TBSP room temperature butter
-
1/4 cup confectioner's sugar
-
5 TBSP M&S Maple Syrup
How to Make:
Dough:

In a standing mixer - pour in milk, yeast package & sugar. Mix and let sit for few minutes.

Add softened butter and eggs and mix

Add in 4-5 cups of flour and mix until roughly combined

Switch to a dough hook and knead for about 5 minutes - until dough is tacky

Place dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap and cover with a towel until the dough doubles in size (roughly 1-2 hours)
Filling:

Roll out dough

In a bowl mix softened butter, brown sugar and cinnamon (can double the recipe if you like!)

Take a spoon - pour and spread cinnamon sugar mix on rolled out dough

Tightly roll dough towards you to create a log

Cut off ends and discard
-
Create 8 rolls with remaining dough log

Place rolls in a lightly greased pan - cover with plastic wrap and a towel. Let rise for 30 minutes
Bake:

Pre-heat oven to 350 and bake 15-20 minutes
Maple Glazed Icing:
-
In a standing mixer, mix room temperature cream cheese, butter, confectioner's sugar, and M&S Maple Syrup until combined and smooth

Spread icing on top of hot cinnamon rolls and enjoy!!
